What is the difference between this PSYCHE project, and the existing Reckless Deck cards available now on reckless deck.com?
Short Answer: Reckless Deck on the website deals with your character’s LOOK. PSYCHE deals with their MIND.
Existing Reckless Deck, available on our website right now, approaches characters from the “outside in”, which is an actor term, meaning, in VERY broad strokes, “the look & the physicality informs the character”. It harnesses classic VISUAL, PHYSICAL TROPES from all across Sci Fi and Fantasy: The blaster. The lightsaber. The giant Greatsword. The hood & cloak. The big, steampunk arm-gear thingie no one can come up with a good name for. “Classic” Reckless Deck (for lack of a better term) deals with shuffling these physical, visual genre tropes into unexpected combinations to yield new & surprising results. It’s very geared towards visual artists, but is also extremely useful for writers and roleplaying gamers.
PSYCHE, on the other hand does the opposite. It attacks character “ from the inside out”. Meaning, developing the character’s emotional center - their core motivation, the circumstances of their life, the events in their past - will dictate character moving outward. This series also promotes ( & strongly advocates) genre mixing and matching for the telling of unique stories. It’s very geared towards writers & role playing gamers, but is also incredibly useful for artists - particularly those that utilize narrative, like comics creators, concept artists, & animators.

How do I add the Add Ons I want to my pledge?
The Add Ons are additional products our funding success is allowing us to produce.
We will begin the Pledge Manager phase in Backerkit a few weeks after the Kickstarter is over. This is a separate online platform where you will be able to:
-
Confirm your shipping address
-
Shop for additional Add Ons. All the add ons will be available individually for you to select from and add to your order. The prices of each will be clearly listed (and are also clearly listed currently in the “Add Ons” section of our Kickstarter.)
-
Then, your shipping costs will be calculated based on the updated weight of all the items you’ve decided to add to your base pledge (if any).
You have 2 options for adding funds for desired add ons: You can add funds to your pledge now in Kickstarter to accommodate for the add ons you want, or you can wait until Backerkit to do your adding on. The only difference is, adding funds now in Kickstarter continues to drive the Kickstarter total, thereby unlocking new stretch goals.
Add ons that have multiple design options, like the playmats, Hold Everything Boxes, and the coins will have quantity discounted prices in Backerkit, if you want a number of different design options, or one of each design option we offer.

I'm a retailer. Do you offer case or quantity discounts to retailers?
Yes! There is a pledge level called the Core Set Retailer Tier. It’s a case of 8 copies of the Core Set, at a retailer’s wholesale price at slightly under 50% per unit of the MSRP of $34.99.
If you want more than one case of 8 of the Core Set, you can add the additional funds here in Kickstarter, and you will have a credit in the Backerkit pledge manager phase waiting for you to add on your desired number of additional cases. Or you can wait until Backerkit to do your adding on.
You will also have retailer case options available in Backerkit for the Companion Decks of your choice as well.
If you’re a retailer, tell us about yourself! Shoot us a message here on Kickstarter or an email at [email protected], and tell us if you’re online only, if you have a brick & mortar store, or are a buyer for a chain of stores. And, where in the US (or the world) you’re located!

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
